Tina Knowles, the mother of superstar Beyonce, is calling stylists, barbers, and beauty professionals for a Win With Kamala virtual gathering on September 9 to support VP Kamala Harris for the presidency.
The call aims to dialogue with professionals in the beauty industry on mobilizing and organizing people in their communities to vote for Kamala Harris in the November elections. Also, discussions will go along the lines of providing resources to support these and the Kamala Harris campaign in general
In the call she made via her Instagram account, she wrote “All beauty professionals, Hairstylists, Make Up Artists, nail artists, aestheticians, anyone in the beauty field! We have been the cornerstone of information that goes way back in history. Salons are healing places. They are places of community, of networking, and spreading the word.”
