The virtual workshop offers crucial information for international students on work authorization, particularly in light of ongoing Special Student Relief (SSR) campaigns for several African countries including Nigeria, Congo, Sudan, and Mauritania. While SSR campaigns are ongoing, international students may be eligible to apply for individual immigration benefits, including off-campus work authorization.
Participants will learn about F-1 visa work regulations, how to apply for off-campus work authorization, and the process for extending or renewing work permits. The workshop provides a supportive environment for students to ask questions, share experiences, and gain valuable insights to make informed decisions about their employment opportunities.
