As the African population in Prince George’s County approaches 20%, and African entrepreneurs make up 40% of the county’s business community, the Prince George’s County Council cordially invites you to its African Cultural & Awards Night.
Hosted by Council Members Wala Blegay, Esq. and Krystal Oriadha, the event will showcase cultural performances, an African fashion show by Temmy Collection, award presentations, and distinguished speakers. Keynote speaker H.E. Hilda Suka-Mafudze, the African Union Ambassador to the USA, will address the gathering.
This special evening will celebrate the vibrant African culture within Prince George’s County and honor the outstanding contributions of African leaders to the community. With Issac Geralds as Master of Ceremonies, the event will serve as a key platform to highlight the growing influence of the African community on the county’s economy and overall quality of life.
